Dispute Resolution

New England Franchise Dispute Resolution Attorney

With over 28 years of experience in franchise dispute resolution, attorney L. Seth Stadfeld offers pragmatic and effective legal representation in litigation, mediation and arbitration proceedings.

Mr. Stadfeld represents both franchisees and franchisors in contract disputes, fraud cases, encroachment, and other franchise and distribution controversies.

While some franchise law disputes require litigation, we often try to resolve issues through more cost effective methods of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) such as mediation and arbitration. Attorney L. Seth Stadfeld is a certified American Arbitration Association arbitrator. In particular, he views mediation as a way to achieve swift and effective resolutions without becoming embroiled in a costly legal proceeding.

Mr. Stadfeld has recognized that the best way to prevent disputes is through the development of legally sound contracts at the outset, to govern relationships between franchisors and franchisees. Mr. Stadfeld has extensive franchise transaction experience, offering counsel and support in the drafting and negotiation of UFOC's, contracts and related franchise documents.
